 Do you know that  "perfume" , this word  is derived from the Latin "per fumum", and means through smoke.

And  Perfumery  is the art of making perfumes, began in Egypt but was developed by the Persians and the Romans. Although perfume and perfumery also was in East Asia, much of its fragrances are incense based.
As the time passed new techniques were adapted to make perfumes. There was an addition to the elements used to manufacture perfumes. Chemical elements such as alcohol and various other synthetically produced elements were used to produce perfumes. Even after the discoveries in the art of making perfumes Arabs still use the traditional methods to make perfume (called attar in Arabic).

perfume was measured to be a luxury; women were borrowed to produce perfumes in the courtyard of the houses of rich people. Ancient techniques of making perfumes included the usage of bark, twigs and lease, fruits, seeds, woods and various other organic products, but in the initial stages of the perfume making art no flowers were used to manufacture perfume.
Perfumes for Arabia the concept for fragrance was once belong to Arabia; there the perfumes were made by traditional material like rose, sandal wood and various flowers. Ideally they were used for prayer ceremony and important gathering. Today we have perfumes made by alcohol which are very strong and are made by various chemicals in laboratory. There are various pro and cons between these two theory of perfumes. In any case Arabian perfumes has unique quality and 1000s of years of traditional expertise, today manufacturer of Arabian perfume called Attar have come up with various solutions to make perfumes with exactly same fragrance like CK, Hugo and Dior. Besides cosmetic fragrance, Arabian attar also produces fragrance of different flowers, natural fragrance that would be found after the rain and other natural fragrance. In 800AD Europe use to trade perfumes from Arabia but, today Paris with the HQ many perfumes under makeups are accessible for use. In fact, western method of extraction fragrance from basils and plants is from Arabian Way

Wearing perfumes is an art in itself. One should chose perfumes that suits them, not their friends or families. Perfumes should be applied to the pulse points such as the folds in the crook of your elbow and back of knees, wrist, neck and cleavage. Do not rub your wrist together because it crushes the smell. Spraying the perfume in the air is also very good if you walk straight into the perfume because it helps to diffuse perfume in your body. Do not simply apply to the neck always work up the body as the scent rises.
During the last few decades perfume industry has seen growth at a very high rate and perfume industry has become one of the most dominant industries of the world. Big names in the perfume industry are spending millions to come up with a unique fragrance every short interval of time so that they can meet the demand and live up to the expectations of the customers.
